How to Start Saving Gold

To start saving gold, there are 4 important steps you need to take:

Step 1: Public Gold Account Registration

For free registration, click the "Register a Public Gold Account" button below:

Fill out the form provided completely.

Some important things to note when filling out the form:

1) Fill in your full name in the "Full Name (As Per IC)" field. Make sure it is the same as on your identity card.

2) If registering an account for yourself and your children, use different emails (create a new email if your child does not have an email)

3) Check all the details and make sure all the information is correct before clicking the "SUBMIT" button

Step #2: Download The Public Gold App

Download the 'PUBLIC GOLD' app to your phone.

Login to your Public Gold account via the official website or Public Gold application using your IC as your username.

Step #3: Verify Public Gold Account

After registration,

1️⃣ Click on the Public Gold website link

2️⃣ Enter your KP Number (without dashes) as your Username and Password

3️⃣ A TAC number will be sent to your whatsapp / sms. Enter the TAC number provided.

4️⃣ Click Log in

✅ Note: After your first purchase, you will receive a PG Code membership number (PG00XXXXXX) as your permanent username. Refer to Step #4 below for purchase

Step #4: First Purchase

The first purchase must be made within 24 hours of registration or no later than 7 days after registration.

Small budget under RM1,000?

The best method is the Akaun Emas Gold Accumulation Program (GAP).

You can start from RM100. When you have enough grams of gold in your account, you can withdraw physical gold as small as 1 gram (999.9 purity).

Purchasing a Gold Accumulation Program (GAP) Gold Account can also be done via Auto Debit.

Money from your bank account will be automatically deducted and converted into gold in your GAP account

Big budget more than RM1,000?

If you want Public Gold to store your gold for free, the best way is the GAP Gold Account.

But if you choose to store it yourself, buy via the full payment method. The larger the gram, the more you save on the price per gram.

Monthly Payment?

Public Gold also provides a 6-month or 10-month syariah-compliant monthly payment plan.

After payment is complete, you will receive your gold.

You are required to update your Public Gold account profile for verification and stock release purposes
